Return Policy

TRADITION INK RETURN POLICY


Our goal at TraditionInk.com is to make certain that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. For this reason, we have established the following return policies:

1) If you are returning an unneeded or wrongly ordered product that is the result of customer error, you will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. In order to return products to us, you must contact TraditionInk.com within ten (10) calendar days from the original date of shipment to request an RMA.

2) If you wish to return a product that you consider defective, your request to return must be within thirty (30) calendar days of the original invoice. If you are within thirty (30) days, you must first contact TraditionInk.com by phone (800-886-8770) or e-mail (sales@traditionink.com) for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping your product back to us. No returns will be accepted without a Tradition Ink RMA number. When contacting us to return merchandise, please provide the following information:

Customer name
Order number
Order date
Part number(s) to be returned
Quantity to be returned
Reason for return


3) If you are returning a defective product, you will be credited 100% of your purchase price, subject to inspection, after the products are received at our warehouse. Defective products for return must also contain a sample copy of a page printed using the defective item.

4) If you are returning a defective product we will pay for the shipping cost to return the product to our warehouse. However, shipping costs for products that are being returned as a result of customer error are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for lost or untraceable return shipments. We strongly recommend that you send your return using a shipping company that provides you with a way to track your package.

5) We will only accept for return products that were purchased from TraditionInk.com. We cannot accept depleted items or items purchased from other retailers. All returned merchandise must be received within thirty (30) calendars days of the issuance of the RMA number and return instructions. Failure to do so will result in denial of your refund or credit. We retain the right to refuse to service a customer who abuses our return policy system.

WHEN RETURNING MERCHANDISE TO TraditionInk.com:
 
1) After receiving your request for return, you will be issued an RMA and directed to ship the products to our warehouse. Do not ship the returned merchandise to our corporate offices. Unless we specify a particular carrier for returning the merchandise, you are responsible for the secure return of merchandise. We recommend using carriers like UPS or FedEx because they provide tracking numbers. If you send the package through the US Postal Service, please use some type of delivery confirmation service that is available through the USPS so a missing shipment can be traced.

2) All returned products must be in original, unmarked packaging in new condition. If product is stated to be defective, a sample copy must accompany returned product displaying the indicated defect. Products should be returned in a protective outer box. Products must be unopened and in re-sellable condition.
 
3) Do not place shipping labels or write directly on manufacturer's boxes in any way. Pack items securely. The RMA number must be written on outer shipping container or delivery will be refused at our dock. Only return products to us that are approved for return to us on the RMA form.

4) TraditionInk.com will not be responsible for packages lost by the carrier. TraditionInk.com will pay for shipping of replacement merchandise. Please understand, products purchased as a result of customer error may be returned, but shipping costs incurred for the return of the product(s) will be at the purchaser's expense.

5) If returning an opened, defective product please put open cartridges or other items in a resealable plastic bag to prevent ink leakage. We will not notify you when a credit is issued to your account, so please check your credit card statement for confirmation of a credit. Following these procedures will ensure that your return will be processed in an efficient manner and credit will be issued promptly.
 
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT:
 
1) If you receive a box that has obviously been damaged in transit, please refuse the delivery. If you accept a package that has been damaged in transit, notify the carrier immediately and initiate a claim with the carrier.
 
RMA EXPIRATION:

1) Once an RMA is issued to you, please return the merchandise as soon as possible. Unused RMA numbers are voided after 30 days. DISCLAIMER: TraditionInk.com reserves the right to alter or modify this return policy at any time and shall accept returns and issue refunds or credits at its sole discretion.
